I read the comics every day, even the ones I KNOW will be terrible, like Momma or Heart of the City. It&#8217;s a habit I picked up as a kid.<\/p>\n<p>A few months ago, I started scribbing over the comics that were particularly horrible. It became a daily ritual. I&#8217;d read the comics, do the sudoku, and then rip that day&#8217;s comics apart. Unbeknownst to me, my co-workers started finding my edits and reading them after I went home. They liked them, so I decided to share them with the world.<\/p>\n<p>Several people have asked me how I would categorize my work. Is it doodling? Contemporary art? Therapy? Comedy? Satire? I suppose it&#8217;s all of that.<\/p>\n<p>If you look at my blog roll, I&#8217;ve included artists who do work similar to what I have posted here, in my opinion.
